Easy Fried Rice
Ingredients -
1-1/2 cups Cooked Long-Grain White Rice
1 tablespoons Canola Oil
1/4 medium Yellow Onion, sliced
4 Scallions, sliced
1 cup Fresh Bean Sprouts
1 cup frozen Petite Peas
1 tablespoon Low-Salt Soy Sauce
2 teaspoons Sugar
1 large Egg, scrambled
Salt and Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste
Preparation:

1. Arrange vegetables in order of use in small bowls or on plate.

2. In a small bowl combine soy sauce and sugar.

3. Heat wok over high heat. Add canola oil.

4. When oil begins to reach smoking point, add yellow onion. Stir-fry 1 minute.

5. Add scallions. Stir-fry 30 seconds.

6. Add bean sprouts and cooked rice. Stir-fry 2 minutes.

7. Fold in soy sauce mixture and petite peas. Stir-fry 3 minutes.

8. Add salt and pepper, if desired.
